About Lily
I’m Lily Abel, a Senior majoring in Media Advertising at Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana. Originally from Maryland, I relocated to Indiana to explore the many opportunities offered by the Media School, to expand my knowledge, and to gain skills.
I have a deep passion for brand advertising and influencer marketing, with a strong focus on creative strategies. My strengths lie in my ability to think outside the box, communicate effectively, and stay organized in fast-paced environments.
With hands-on experience in social media management, I’ve had the opportunity to create and curate content for brands like ESPN, Bubble Skincare, and Shades News, helping them connect with their target audiences through engaging and impactful campaigns.

Final Project: Toyota Partnership – ESPN New York Internship
Developed a mock partnership pitch between Toyota and ESPN relating to their College Football Tailgate Tour.
I created a comprehensive presentation that highlights strategic opportunities, brand synergy, user engagement, and media visibility among fans.
Collaborated on a strategic brand audit of Emi Jay, analyzing its identity, social media presence, and Gen Z consumer perception within the beauty and accessories space. Using social listening, surveys, and competitive research, our team identified key opportunities around brand storytelling, product focus, and cultural relevance.
The project concluded with a final strategic presentation outlining actionable recommendations for EmiJay’s future growth.
